If you buy Microsoft CRM with 5 users you get an extra 5 free, buy 10 get 10 free.

If you want more details call me on 07813 939672 or email crm@vigence.co.uk

We are trying to get Microsoft to recognise that if they drop the price for small business it will increase the number of customers so if you have an SBS customer who could do with CRM this is an excellent promotion.

<msn:type>blogentry</msn:type><live:type>blogentry</live:type><live:typelabel>Blog entry</live:typelabel>

<dcterms:modified>2007-05-24T13:16:26Z</dcterms:modified>

CRM at the May SBSC London User Group

I will be presenting CRM 3.0 and issues surrounding selling it into small businesses at the next meeting of the London Small Business Specialist Community on 8th May at Microsoft's London office.

<msn:type>blogentry</msn:type><live:type>blogentry</live:type><live:typelabel>Blog entry</live:typelabel>

<dcterms:modified>2006-04-16T01:12:44Z</dcterms:modified>

Midlands SBS User Group

The next meeting of the Small Business Server Community User Group is scheduled for Tuesday 8th November at the Arden Hotel again.

Addressing the Myths

Doesn’t run on the same hardware of Windows Server

Cannot add additional servers in an Windows SBS domain

I can’t use the tools that I know from Windows Server in Windows SBS

The Exchange Server limit is too small

I can’t run Terminal Services in the Windows SBS domain

The line of business application I depend on isn’t supported on Windows SBS

I don’t feel comfortable upgrading my current Windows Server

I’m going to outgrow Windows SBS

Windows SBS doesn’t scale for a large number of users (e.g. more than 15 PCs)

Windows SBS doesn’t have the full version of the server applications

The powerpoint also has a list of useful resources for SBS

<msn:type>blogentry</msn:type><live:type>blogentry</live:type><live:typelabel>Blog entry</live:typelabel>

<dcterms:modified>2005-09-20T09:41:53Z</dcterms:modified>

Midlands SBS User Group

The first meeting of the Midlands group of the Microsoft Small Business Specialist Community is on Monday 19th September at:

Small Business Server (SBS) is a combination of:

Windows 2003 Server
Windows Sharepoint Services
Exchange Server 2003
SQL Server 2000
ISA Server 2000 (2004 in the soon to be released service pack)
Shared Fax Service
Outlook 2003
Front Page
Wizards to help manage the common tasks in managing the system and users

all at a very attractive price.
I am a big fan of SBS and we run on SBS ourselves internally and approximately half our CRM customers are running on SBS.
Microsoft CRM and SBS work extremely well together and Microsoft is offering a very attractive package for the first 15 Sales CRM users when you use CRM with SBS. For instance, we can now supply, install and configure a 5 user CRM solution for less than £5,000.
If you want to know more on the SBS/CRM offer please drop me a line.
If you want to find out more on SBS check out the SBS Diva Blog in my links to the right of the page.

<msn:type>blogentry</msn:type><live:type>blogentry</live:type><live:typelabel>Blog entry</live:typelabel>

<dcterms:modified>2005-09-12T17:21:46Z</dcterms:modified>

ACT2005 and SBS

Interesting post from the SBS Diva on incompatibilities in the new version of ACT! with Small Business Server.

It appears that ACT2005 is not compatible with SBS. Given that ACT is targeted at exactly the same market as SBS this is huge own goal for Sage/Best and I am looking forward to migrating more ACT! users onto Microsoft CRM.

<msn:type>blogentry</msn:type><live:type>blogentry</live:type><live:typelabel>Blog entry</live:typelabel>

<dcterms:modified>2005-09-12T17:21:12Z</dcterms:modified>
